Unplanned hiatus and reflections on disaster

My further apologies for the hiatus from blogging. Getting the house and garden up to scratch after the recent Brisbane floods has been a mammoth effort and still not finished. However with garden beds now ready and awaiting planting and builders due to come in soon, hopefully things will return to normal soon with regular posts again. And hopefully more veges from garden before long!

It has been a rough summer here in Queensland with the two cyclones (Anthony and Yasi) battering the north coast this month as well. Our fellow statesmen and women have lost a lot in recent weeks and it seems like the whole state has borne the brunt of these twin disasters.
